I am winning heads up tournaments at a rate just above 53% over about 500 trials. I think that if I work on my game I could get into the 56-57% win rate. Are there any other BJ tournament players here? I have played some Blackjack heads-up tournaments within Game Account software which is used in William Hill and Paddy Power for example.

I have been playing a bunch of Blackjack tournaments online. I mostly play heads up and am hoping to discuss good strategy with the veterans here. Where I play there is heavy juice that goes to the house (10% of buy in). Many feel that too much luck is involved to make this a profitable opportunity. I think it is possible even at the horrendous house take.

There are also bots you can play against, but they seem to play close to perfect strategy. You'll learn from their playing style what the best strategy is. I seem to have slight advantage against human players who may not know the best strategy but I am not sure if it's enough to cover the rake. Also I tend to feel a bit guilty winning against humans but I would have no problem winning against house bots.I have played some Blackjack heads-up tournaments within Game Account software which is used in William Hill and Paddy Power for example. you would feel guilty using your skill to win money from other players? I guess you don't like poker either?
You would be surprised how many people play the 2 final rounds incorrectly. I can't count how many times I beat my opponent by simply surrendering my hand in the last round

Heads Up Blackjack Tournament Strategy
In Game Account software I haven't seen surrendering being offered. To me the best strategy seems to be to try to get 1$ ahead of opponent by martingaling if necessary and then simply match his every stake to retain the edge. There are of course many more strategical decisions to be made than that. Please confirm your requested tournament type in your message below.
